is published in the International Journal of Non-Linear Mechanics. The paper investigates how surface and interfacial effects influence the nonlinear dynamic response of miniaturized dielectric elastomer actuators. These effects become especially important as device dimensions decrease, and they can substantially alter the behavior, stability, and performance of soft electromechanical systems.
The work was carried out with Akhil Pratap Singh and Atul K. Sharma, and contributes to the broader effort to understand and control the dynamics of soft active materials.
